Anyone out there who owns a unsealed Promotinal Copy of Dino Crisis (DE or UK) for Dreamcast? Got a few questions about it, like: Is there a "NOT FOR RESALE" text on the center of the disc too?
Capcom promo games usually come like that. They look like retail except for not for resal on the disc ring and on the back. I had Mr Driller and Street Fighter also once upon a time They went along with my white labels though so... =/ I have a Japanese Love Hina which is the same deal.
Thank you for your instant reply, LeGIt! Yes, I own a few Promo Copys, but I recently bought a Dino Crisis (UK) without the text on the GD. The sticker (on the manual) is present but the text on the disc is missing. http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26623 (7th post in this thread) My German copy is still sealed. I don't want to unwrap this game just to take a look at the disc.
Check the disc serial number and compare it online. If it is retail serial maybe somone just put retail disc in the promo case? Or a promo sticker on retail case?
Good point... MDK 2, Capcom vs. SNK, Kao the Kangaroo, Rouge Spears etc. got all a "P" in the patent number (e.g. "P 830-0108-50"). But Dino Crisis maybe not? I'll wait for a 100% proof/another unsealed Dino Crisis (DE or UK) promo.
