I just responded to the case, and closed it. I have no idea any one would bother opening a case for a refunded item...
I had a fella send me 4 "working" XBOX controllers. Only 1 works and it has a fraid cable.....awesome. I am confident I can maybe get 3 working as one if you move the cable strategically it will work, another the left toggle turns left (ie run around in circles). Cool story bro. I hate to sell shit on ebay due to scammers.
You have to do that, else they dont get the final value fee back. You just need to agree that the auction is cancelled. Why make sensationalist posts, when you dont know how ebay works? Oo
Well it's the first time I've ever had this experience, usually when I get refunded there's no cases or anything. Now I know. Anyhow I made the post way before the case was made
They have to open a "we decided to cancel the transaction" case. You agree, he gets the 10% ebay took for the fee back.
Bought a huge lot of generic DS styli as I tend to occasionally repair and sell broken DS systems. They were really cheap, and when they arrived, only about 1/3 of them would even fit into a DS stylus slot. I ask for a partial refund and the guy tells me "no, you got a good deal". Um, no. It's a good deal when the product that I paid for can actually be used. After a few messages back and forth, I tell him that a $4 refund would satiate me (which was based on the percentage that were shit), and he says "there's no way I can refund any more than $3.50. I just laughed. The guy would rather save .50 than make it right. I told him to save his $3.50 and enjoy the negative feedback.
I love stories like those. Honestly, in the field of business when the product isn't suitable, just refund the fucking money and be done with, then consult your supplier. This exact story happened when I bought a sealed XBOX game, but it was a re-sealed copy with a fake case. The seller refused my refund of $16, and called me cheap. So I ruined his 99.9% feedback, hope it was worth it for him. He was very abusive too.
IKR?! [sarcasm] Totally worth saving a few bucks for that negative feedback, eBay sellers! [/sarcasm] My guy didn't seem to understand that it wasn't at all about the money, but rather that selling shitty product is, well, shitty.
When I was about 13, my dad bought me a copy of Pokemon: Green version, the NTSC edition. Which, as we all know, doesn't exist. As a kid, I had no idea. But here I am years later, fascinated with this fake pokemon game. I'm guessing it's just a generic chinese hack. The broken english is utterly hilarious.
One guy I know to also avoid on Feebay is hitjapan. Lies about the box condition and ships stuff horribly. HURR ENVERLOPEZ WIT NO PADdiNGZ
I've bought from hit-japan many times without problems. Probably a mix up, as it's not just one person packing/selling.
