I have a Japanese LE Xbox, but playing the game in Japanese just kills it. The first one had no English option (which really put me off) as that's how the game was originally made. Also, for tunneling software, the JPN and ENG versions but heads, and don't work in harmony. At least that's how it was for the first Halo.
I already got the US version! :smt083 I boot ass at this game. Killing the Covenant is much better than the first Halo. :smt023 I actually recommend Halo 2. It's got a very cinematic feel, and the environs aren't repetitive (so far, end of 3rd level) like the first. Oh and you can honk the horn in the Warthog. That makes everything much better. :-D
Me and one of my friends chipped in and bought the special edition. I have seen a regular game manual at school, however the special edition is different, and the names of the monsters have been changed to weird names...
i think new game from FROM SOFTWARE is completely in English with Japanese subtitle from the TGS 2004 promo demo. Forgot its name but it's about US president wearing body armour kicking terrorists ass... unfortunately Phantom Dust isn't - no matter I'm getting Asian release soon... just nee to figure out how to get on XLIVE without getting another Xbox... (unlike other consoles, two Xbox are already taking way more room than necessary...) cheers
