anyone in Japan can advise whether disk system diskettes are still obtainable for Fujitsu FM-7/NEW7?

after long search I came to conclusion that I left all the diskette when I moved out of Japan - along with Relics and few other hentai games. :( Without it FDD unit is bit useless really...

also I'm still looking for RS232C card - was building one but can't seem to locate where I put the half finished board last time...

looks like only diskette I have is Samurai word processor but not sure whether it will still work after more than decade of stored in a carton... they look ok though...

    any info/help would be appreciated.

    cheers

p.s. anyone on this board still using either FM-7/77/PC-88/PC-98 series? My fav was PC-9801 as it had many games I wanted but couldn't afford so I got stuck with FM-NEW 7. Still had good time with it playing/learning...

also anyone remember FM-8 from early 80s? I saw it once long time ago and was quite fascinated by its bubble memory technology. Don't think anyone else tried that technology since...

Not really console related. But I remember years and years ago, there was a device made that was basically an MP3 player, but it used that weird bubble memory technology. You stored the songs on a card, and it was voice activated as well. I think it was stupidly priced so never took off, way ahead of its time, I wonder if anyone has any info on this thing?

    bubble memory card

I recall seeing YJ auction for a module not so long ago...
frankly this is one of those wonderful but never caught in mainstream technologies... it's kind of that crystal rod data storage they used in StraTrek episode... except this is real deal...

wonder Fujitsu still persue this technology in one form or another?

    cheers
