Hot on the heels of me deciding to sell some stuff, I found I have a CD repair machine. This isnt some crappy disc doctor unit but a proper polisher.
The point of this thread is to gauge opinion on me starting a service for disc repair. If I started it im guessing it would cost 4/5 pounds sterling (with discounts for more).
SO what do you think? Over to you....

Would that include postage etc? My local Gamestation does it - I'm not sure how much they charge though - could have an ask though.

Probably prohibitively expensive to the UK. We do them at £2 a disc to local customers, as I believe do most GameStations - in fact, we dropped our price from £3 to stay competitive. GAME also do it, but I think charge £2.50 a disc? Not sure about the others, but we have a proper industrial unit that cost thousands when we bought it, although the same company now do units for around £600.

I'd imagine most people would be able to pop into one of the above stores and get their discs done. In fact, if you check out the web site for Total Disc Repair, you'll find hundreds of companies that offer disc repair by mail, such as cdfix.co.uk who charge £2 a disc maximum.
