Is this because of better cooling normal PC PSUs have than the 360's PSU?

 

The 360's PSU is fan cooled as well. It's just that getting a replacement (if needed) can be tough at the moment.

 

Brave fix, but as he states jap 360 so the cost of shipping isnt even worth it.

Never the less something I wouldnt do
