Does everyone agree that there is enough room in there for me to bring my Xbox kiosk out of storage? The wife is doubtful and wants it kept under wraps and as far from the house as humanly possible lol

Looks good, but that tiled wall next to the double door takes away from it all...

Not much I can do about it at the moment really, that's where the fridge freezer goes so in the end you don't see it, however I couldn't agree more. The wife disagreed and thus.... Next year I shall lower the ceiling slightly and also re-tile, so at that point I'll sort out that wall. Have to do these things in stages. Really easy to remove cabinets etc and get at the walls.

We are not finished. On the long brown wall we are putting in a few more cabinets and some shelving hence the reason the plugs seem strangely placed halfway up the walls etc.

No matter what happens, we think it's a damned sight better than it was before as the previous owners had made a right mess of things.

Almost complete. There are a few additional things we need to do and I am still considering putting in either a breakfast bar or some additional worktop space as we are used to a far larger amount of available surface space. However, this is pretty much a work in progress so I guess no need to go into all the details. Thus, here's where I am at as of last this morning.

Pachi-slo - combination of pachinko & slot. A well placed pinball table probably wouldn't go amiss, either.

*leaves before Parris' wife decides to smite him*

    Seriously, that's nice work, Parris!

Thanks! Wife is now scowling at me with a 'Not on your life' look, which I am innocently ignoring <slap!>

When we first moved in there was a Belfast sink. One of those massive, deep porcelain jobs which I remember from art classes at primary school. We thought it was nice until we discovered the volume of water required to fill it, the damage that it can cause if you accidentally drop anything into it (lost a few plates and a couple of wine glasses that way), then when I started to consider redoing the kitchen I discovered that the sink was actually only being held up by slivers of wood & a very rickety base.

Now it's out on the garden with mint growing in it. Things are moving along nicely. Next job the hallway, downstairs bathroom then attic space.

    It never ends
