DMG Game Boy horizontal dead pixel line fix

Installed a backlight into a DMG gameboy and have a group of Horizontal dead line of pixels on my dmg gameboy. Anyone ever successfully fix one like this? I think my blade nicked the traces somewhere on the green part of the flex cable. I can place a 250 degree iron on traces around them and make the rows. On a positive, the backlight works great.
