I don't know to be honest, they are similar price to the refurbs I was looking at on there a while back so maybe... Probs are from a place like hardoff, shipped to china and fixed for peanuts
I doubt that since there's almost 10,000 of them, there's probably been less than 10,000 total Game Boys sold in the history of Hard Off.
Looks like a real deal to me, probably some refurbished stuff. I highly doubt that anyone cloned DMG with such attention to details - blurry phone photos but PCBs and components look exactly like my old play it loud crystal game boy, the only difference is pokemon stuff and blue d-pad/buttons.
My money is on refurbs. If you like the look and already have a GB, here's the shells they're using - or maybe you just want the lens. Chief, do you think they actually have 10k of them physically in stock just because they put the max possible number into that 'quantity available' field?
Yeah, I wouldn't pay any attention to the quantity they have entered. I constantly get orders cancelled as no longer in stock etc

They can manufacture all sorts of things, but danged if we can get a backlit LCD screen for the Game Boy without paying an arm and a leg.
Get a GB Boy Colour love mine with the everdrive GB. Hardware clone so other than the sound it plays 100% like the original gameboy. They're cheap also on aliexpress.
To be fair it says "same function for original Gameboy Console" in the title - it doesn't say it is the original.
Looks like a legit console to me. Like mentioned above, though blurry the PCBs seem to match up. If its not, they need to sell me some screens!
