Do Irishmen have weak backs??

Discussion in 'Off Topic Discussion' started by Benedict_Arnold, Dec 14, 2005.

  1. Two weeks ago I must have hurt my back somehow because I literally couldn't get out of bed. I think it's my psyactic (?) nerve. It's been almost a full two weeks now and it hurts like a SOB. It hurts to stand, hurts to sit for long. It hurts in the middle of the night in bed when I turn in bed. Anyone else had back problems? Do I need to go to the doctor? It's better than it was but it still hurts and I can't do any exercise. (no sit ups for sure) I can hardly lift my kids up to put them in the car seat because it hurts. I think it's spreading to my sack because I get shooting pains in there sometimes. (not trying to be sick on purpose) Either that or I need to get laid.

Usually I would only get neck pains if I slept wrong and woke up from bed. The only back pain I've ever had was from Football (American), but I'm a Frenchman. Seems strange you still have the pain 2 weeks later; has it declined or stayed the same?

Get an xray. That shooting pain might be prostate related, get that checked out as well.

My back has been bothering me ever since I started this job. I had back problems as a kid, crooked spine and such. But I havent been to anyone for at least 10 years now. Im certain being hunched over a computer for the past 5 years hasnt helped much though heh.

Side note: Im 50% irish. Maybe there are some turths to that myth :110:

  6. I'm not getting my prostate examined. I'm hoping it's when I lifted a big box (game table) that maybe it caused a hernia. I'm hoping it will heal. I had the doctor check my prostate 5 years ago and don't want to do that again.

My dad had a similar problem to this a month or so back. He had some sort of infection in the lining around his heart. It made his chest/back hurt initially but then began to spread lower down.

Definatly see a Doctor about it just in case, its a real nasty viral thing (if its what my dad had).

  8. Shit. Don't say that. My health insurance sucks.
