I get my current generation games from Amazon UK for domestic releases, and Play-Asia for imports. There's no way I'd patronise GAME or GameStation as they simply can't match Amazon's prices the majority of the time. If there was a local independent store with a good selection of stuff, and staff who knew what they were on about, I'd be happy to pay a little extra and shop there. But there isn't. :banghead: Any Neo Geo and Dreamcast games I buy now come from either eBay, other online sellers or forums. Oh, and NGevTeam.
Never, I get all my stuff on the mail Considering where I live, and that games/accesories/consoles cost like twice or thrice the prices in the local market, thanks but no thanks, mail for me. (I often get fucked at the mail anyways with their shitty 60% taxes on almost everything, as you guys heard me rant about several times) Though I would love to be able to buy locally, it's fun. I used to do it to find old NES / SNES used/loose carts a couple of years ago, but most of my finds were in pretty bad conditions.
i prefer buying Local, will resort to Amazon and EBay if desperate. The CIB and best price are the deciding factor for disc based games.
Has to be online for me too, my nearest town has a GAME, Gamestation, CEX and Gringer games but all they stock is generic shit, do their level best to get you to buy a second hand version of whatever it is you want or try and talk you into pre-ordering some bollocks. I miss the days of cramming into some sweaty little shop to see what the latest curios from Japan were and being able to swap - no trade in - but swap a game and not feel like I was being raped. Progress has not been kind to the indies and gaming for me at least is worse for it.
