So I managed to get the V64 board out today, once the small apator is out it's easy to remove.

I looked over the board, and it looks like it's been worked on, already. Jumper wires, and a replaced EEPROM.

Reheated the video out point as it looked rather dry, still getting no picture.
The power supply seems fine to me, reason being that I get a bit of static lines on the screen when the video plug isn't in properly.
Video IN works, but picture is really scrambled.

I know the image isn't great, but I honestly don't know what I'm looking for. I did inspect the board for broken traces, and I can't seem to find any.
My guess is maybe the video capacitor isn't working, but still want to know what others who are experienced can tell me :)

    Anyone know?

I'd start by checking the power supply voltages.

the good news is you can still play games by connecting the output from the n64 to the tv. it's a pain because you get no menu screen but it's better than nothing. my mate used to do this due to his old tv not displaying the v64 output. and when i say old tv, his tv was old back in the late ninties lol. when selecting games you need to know how many clicks left or right and what page the game you want to play is which is a pain.
hopefully you can fix it because the v64 is a nice collectors item, not only that but it has uses that flash cartridges don't like dumping carts :). i got 2 v64s but i don't use them anymore since i got my everdrive 64.
