Hey , I got V64jr and so far im using a parallel cabel to transfer my v64 files to the junior . i wanted to get a parallel to USB cable , because my laptop
doesnt have a parallel port . do you think that its going to work ? or that the only way to do it is using the parallel ?

    THanks

I *know* it will not work. You must use a real parallel port, ideally with EPP support.

What about PCI LPT cards? Did anyone try those? I also have plenty devices that need EPP parallel port, but all moderm mobos don't have LPT onboard anymore...

Added: something like this: Lava One Port PCI card

PCMCIA cards work - I've personally verified. However, it only would go to port 400 on my laptop so I was mostly out of luck. Supposedly you can rework it, but I didn't have the patience. Also, you should be able to use a laptop dock, and it probably does the same thing. Same issue though.
