    did anyone else watch the new episode last night?it was the highlight of my christmas,besdies my new k-9 cookie jar.it was by no means a bad story but i really didnt care for the spider creature.

    Yeah, not a bad episode, but it is kinda hard for us in the UK to take Catherine Tate seriously! You half expect her to go into "bovvered?" mode, hehe. Talking of which, I really thought her fiance was going to when he was prattling off that list of stuff he hated!

    K9 cookie jar, eh? Nice! I didn't get much Whomobilia this year... a RC Dalek, and some kinda marshmallow sweets was about it! Still, I have quite enough as it is!

    Well guess who got the voice changing cyberman Helmet!
    Pretty good episode I thought, But as with retro I was expecting her to turn into one of her characters at any point.
    Loved the spider though - A classically evil and scary villain!

    I've got to disagree with you all here. I was thoroughly disapointed with the Xmas special.

    It didn't really engage me at all, It just felt tedious to watch. Though I will agree it is better than Torchwood, but that is mostly due to how bad Torchwood is!
