Dodgy Yaroze

Pulled my Net Yaroze out of storage the other day (its been in a box in a shed, yeah i know i feel bad about it as well!). It turns on ok but after the "put your disk in now" type screen come's up it just hangs. Trying to play a standard game results in the same hang after the main sony title screen. Any one got any ideas what the problem may be? The cd seems to spin alright, but not 100% sure the unit is ok, could this be a cd unit issue?.

 

Does playing a music CD result in the same hang?

 

It appears to play music ok, hmm i guess is maybe abit more terminal then the cd unit then..

 

maybe your Disk is not readable. Try other disks.

 

Yeah tried other disks and the same still happens. Took it apart last night couldn't see anything obvious wrong no broken connections, scorch marks etc...
