What are your opinions on Homebrew and repro gaming for vintage videogames? Its becoming very popular these days and is a huge money maker.I truly loved the fact that sonic the hedgehog 1 had come out on the nes. This is genius. That was always a dream for me.
The games are fun to mess around with in Emulators. I'd buy repros out the ass if I still had all my old systems and didn't throw them out like an IDIOT.
I like homebrew games just fine but am not a fan of repros. They sometimes lead to sacrificing carts if a new PCB isn't being made and there really isn't a need for them existing now that emulation and flash carts are easy to obtain.
I've said this before. I'm fine with repro's, and I own a couple (one translated game and one modded game). My only issue is the cost. I understand that it's not cheap to make these repro's, but, I would still rather not pay £60/$80 for a repro cart.
He put his location as the same AND typed the exact same way. I don't know if I can put enough 'haha's to correctly portray how hilarious this is to me. He actually does believe he's smarter than the rest of us!
You know, if it was just one hour longer... The best part is that he's reading this right now and sticking pins in his MBMM doll. But I won't clog up this precious thread with any more of my mindless banter.
