My dog chewed up my ps2 cord, so my mom went out and got me a "Intec 2.4 GHz mini wireless ps2 controller"
I have read reviews and they say put in batteries and it should automatcially work.
I have put new Duracell batteries in it, but with no luck.
Are there certain battery types to use?
It is the first one on this list.

I guess I should have known since it was 3rd party $hit. :angry

    (sigh) thanks in advance.

look for a "connect" button around the controller and the reciever that plugs into the console. Wireless mouse have this so that it will "connect" to the hub so that you can use it. This wireless controller should work the same. It should be a small button.

It may be the batteries, but I have tried that. What exactly am I supposed to do?
Like is it supposed to be on before the console is, or afterwards?
I pressed the connect button on both devices. With no luck at all.

Can you give me step by step instructions?

p.s. What type of batteries do you use BTW?

Brand of batteries should be unimportant... type will be whatever fits (AA, most likely).

This may sound dumb...but make sure the batteries are in correctly. Hapenned to me with me wireless mouse. :smt043

Otherwise, I have no idea. Perhaps a return is in order?

I put it back in the box. That controller was overpriced anyway.

I just want a regular ps2 cpntroller with a cord extender.
