Pippin? Yes. Games? Hahahaha! If only! I've got a grand total of 2 JP titles. The games seem to be rarer than hens teeth.

Is there actually a list of all the US/JP titles released anywhere?

I have all of the US releases, but only a handful of the Japanese games. For some reason, having a complete Japanese collection of Pippin software just never interested me.

Bojay1997, any chance you could list the ones that you have? I really don't think I'll ever go for the entire list, but I currently have no idea how many & what kind of titles got released - it'd be nice to know what was out there...

My next site will have a list of Pippin software. Here’s what you should add to GoodDeal’s list in the meantime:

    Anime Designer (DBZ cover)
    Ultraman Quiz King
    Tunin’ Glue
    Gadget
    Dazzeloids
    Yellow (disc 1)
    Funky Funny Alien
    Kid’s Box
    Yoku Mite Gochan
(some kind of scheduling disc, forgot the name)
    Chisato Motitaka
    Tropic Island
    Carnival of the Animals
Scary School (forgot the Japanese title)
Peter and the Wolf (Music Island Series)
Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker (Music Island Series)
    The Four Seasons
    Gundam Visual Modeler
    Gundam Tactics

You can see pics of the above on my site:

Also, there were a couple of systems that sold on Yahoo Auctions recently. Here’s one of them with some pics of some games:

I have a complete unused dev kit and a game that had/used the memory expansion a well

Got it from Eric ages ago, but don`t know what it is

But from memory I think it was only a really small number, if not the only one, that actually use a disk and a memory unit

And as to be expected, Eric has it

Do you have to have an account to login first? I don't see anything on the link except some Japanese lettering and some in red (leads me to believe you have to login).

Completed auctions are only viewable by signed in yahoo.jp members.

In a related note does anyone have a complete collection of Sega Pico or Bandai Playdia games?

No you do not have to be a member , you can use Rinkya to watch a Yahoo auction and see what it finishes at.

Ok I could just link it in for you...

Alan....you ended up with that CD/disk? When I was writing down the names of the CD games last night I saw that pic and realized that it was the first and last time I ever saw that. I remember being exctied about it because it was the first and only game I'd ever seen with a floppy. But I remember being disappointed in the price I got for it...heh.

Pippin is going through a big push right now on eBay and Yahoo. That's a really cyclical machine. Prices can get as high as $250 then drop down to $60 in months. For years they were dumping new systems here and those supplies are probably finally drying up.

If anyone is interested in spending $10,000 for a number of kids games then I have some magic beans that I'm willing to part with.

Sometimes you list things just to let people see it and see that you have it. ;)

There are a couple of US releases missing from that list as well. I'll have to pull my gear out of storage, but I recall off the top of my head there is a Home Depot 1-2-3 title that was similar to the PC/MAC version and several other infotainment titles not on the list.

    Hello !

    Hello ! :typin:

This is my first message here and I found this topic by chance while googling.

I'm the guy who bought the Yahoo Auction Japan set linked by Japan-Games before with the 10 Pippin games :
    http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f61164701

I've been watching Pippin auctions for a while, both on eBay and YAJ and Pippin games are indeed rare to come by.

I came here to share some of my "collection" of Pippin games pictures, especially the pictures of the famous auction of Lingjr. I think this guy had the full collection of Japanese Pippin games, or at least 99% of it because I noticed that "Pease Turbo" is missing from his pictures.
You can find the whole pictures of his auction on this page :
    http://sebangulo.free.fr/auction_lingjr/

Here is the gallery of the Pippin games I won on YAJ linked above, in case you want to see in detail :
    http://sebangulo.free.fr/pippin_kuir/

I have been collecting Pippin games and especially Pippin iso for about 2 years now and I'm still looking for more. I don't know if this topic is "legal" or "safe" on this forum so I won't speak any further about that until I'm sure. ;-)

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. I just wanted to help out some Pippin fans even if it seems this topic is a little old.

PS : Hello "Kyushu Eric" ! I've been fighting with you so many times (64DD stuff, Pippin stuff and so on...) on YAJ that it's fun to meet you here. You have a great homepage full of very rare Japanese stuff : wonderful job !

    Hey there

    Thanks :)

I actually missed out on a Pippin title that I think isn't pictured there. It was a train simulation game similar to Densha De Go. I'm fuzzy on the details but I beleive there was one bid for about 5,000 yen right before it ended. Me and that guy went back and forth for about 45 minutes. I finally bumped it up over 10,000 yen but he came over the top. I went over him, he went over me. I finally put a bid in for 15,500 yen or therebouts and decided that that would be my max.

I lost....heh. I'm guessing he also knew how rare it was.

Hey! I was watching that, too! I didn't actually bid against you, as I decided I couldn't cough up more that 10,000 yen that night. It's the only time I've seen that particular title anywhere, so part of me wishes I'd gone ahead & bid... but I also have to eat!

I wouldn't call the bulk of Japanese titles games...
