Does the Modbo 4.0 work in a V4 PS2?

I've found diagrams for installation of the Modbo 4.0 modchip in a V4 PS2 but the descriptions for the modchip usually only list V5+ compatibility.

Can anybody confirm if this works on a v4 NTSC/USA machine?

 

I've installed Modbo 4.0s (V1.93 and V1.99) that I bought pretty recently in two V4 PAL consoles so far (GH-012 and GH-013 boards) and they worked flawlessly. US should work as well.
Just connect all the wires (including G, H).

I've also modded two V3 PAL consoles (GH-007) with Modbo 5.0Ds and didn't run into any problems either (no idea if Modbo 4.0 also work with V3s, haven't tried that).
