Hey guys, i remember that back in 1994 till 1997, i used to watch a lot of this UK gaming show. It aired here in Brazil through "The Superstation channel". Anyway, since i changed to DirecTV some years ago, the channel was gone. And since, DirecTV merged with Sky in Brazil (They decided to keep the Sky name instead of DirecTV), they added some channels free of charge and wasn't i surprised to see Cybernet on the "Multishow" channel! Talking about X360 and PS2 games! The last time i saw, 12 years ago, it was talking about SNES, PS1 and Saturn! Damn, when i first start watching BBS, Compuserve and stuff like that still existed. I was wondering if the show is still being produced? Or the one i watched was just a re-run? Plus, a question to you guys in uk: How many years Cybernet is on the air?
That brings back memories... It used to air on ITV at about 3:00 or 4:00 - I was usually still awake and writing code at that time, so watched it. As for whether or not it still airs; the Wikipedia page (link) says it does - which is quite surprising. A quick search of UK TV listings doesn't bring up any results, though - so either it's taking a break or the Wikipedia page is lying.
Tell me about it. I remember when it still talked about Mega Drive and SNES, not to mention CDi games :110: I have some episodes on tape, but i forgot where they are. I wanted to have the episode, talking about the launch of the PS1 on europe.
a little bit off-topic but yesterday we watched Hot Shots II on VHS, recorded from german tv and the advertisements showed Playstation 1 launch ads that brought back some memories too
Not seen this show in ages and i think its not on anymore, was always bummed that it was on late night at like 3/4 am or something like that. it was on Rapture TV on Sky in the uk (i never had sattelite only cable so couldn't watch it when i t was on there) don't know what happened to it after that since that channel is no more i beleive.
