Something I threw together. Specs: Lapdock has a 1366x768 screen. PC is a Tronsmart MK908 Running a custom version of Android 4.2.2 known as the Finless Bob ROM v1.5. Video details the rest. EDIT: So I made a bit of a comedy video showing flash working on this thing. I wish ASSEMbler would make it so you can have multiple videos in one post...
Great, you have a folding, oversized android device (that doesn't make calls, mind you) and doesn't have a touchscreen. Love the idea, but I don't see the practicality. That's probably why there's a lacking number of these in the consumer market.
The Asus EeePC note book I'm using now in work has both Android and Windows 7 on it. Android on a computer is a bit pointless mind you since many of the apps just don't work. Saying that, the ones that do are great to play on a bigger screen with BlueTooth controllers. But I guess you could just do that on a tablet anyway. So yeah, a bit pointless.
I would like a well-built swivel laptop running android, all the ones I seen are crap Speaking of, has anyone here tried android x86? how is the app compatibility like?
Why? That's a complete waste of the fact that it's an X86 CPU. There are some projects that are cool and I'll support; there are some that I find cool and leave alone; then there are those that just don't make sense.
