Supposedly the original video sent out to attract developers. http://dailymotion.virgilio.it/video/khbSpFWz4bL8x1Y3F0 It also shows a color of gamecube at the end that was never sold.
Nice. I love tech demos, I've always had a thing for them. My favourite has to be the tech demo at the end of 3D Mark 2001, loved the music on that too.
I just love tech demos, at least in my case I cannot say I know a system until I know what is it capable of. I also have to say the bump mapping section looks really good, they did a nice job there. The rest of the stuff looked ok but didn't impress me that much.
God, that went on for waaaay too long. I think the music made it all the more worse! Holy crap that was annoying music! Had it been a bit faster paced and therefore condensed, it would have been more bearable. Of course, it was designed for developers to ooh and aah over the possibilities.
It's the Delfino Plaza music from Super Mario Sunshine. Way less annoying with this video than it is in the game when you're trying to get Yoshi to land on top of the effin boat.
Haha, yes. As others have said, the BGM was really annoying. I wonder how impressed the devs were when they were watching it? The pink GC was hot.
wow, a pink Gamecube, why didn't they release it in this colour? That was a bit long for a teck demo...anyway, rare stuff. But in my opinion it looked a bit uncomfortable in Peach's Castle. Not as nice as in Mario 64. I'm glad it was just a demo and not a real game.
It's not surprising they would fib a little about the graphics quality, companies have been doing it for a long time. I remember a 3DO demo which was way more powerful than what it could handle.
oh thank you yup i was able to download it, im going to go test it on the dolphin emulator before burning a disk edit: hmm i think its a bad dump:S dolphin was unable to open it saying it was an invalid iso
