Dolphin Usage GDEV

    How would I use the dolphin GDEV like to use gcm files and stuff

    You can do one of two things: either use an ODEM card together with OdemSrv.exe to feed the GCM to your GDEV over SCSI, or write the GCM file to an NPDP cartridge.
    If possible, the ODEM method is preferred since it's faster and doesn't need an expensive cartridge and writer. It does require the more rare ODEM PCI card though.

    I don't have an odem card though it that the only way?

    The alternative is an NPDP card and NPDP writer, although those are fairly rare and hard to get too.

    How does the usb2exi work and how do I switch the dolphin to between retail made and development mode

    To the best of my knowledge the USB2EXI is used for PC <-> GDEV communication for debugging purposes.

    You use the boot mode selection tool included in the SDK to switch modes between retail and development. It's a simple .ELF you load onto the GDEV that gives you a small menu to switch modes.

    sorry the odem is a card suppposed to go in to the pc right and then it connects to the odem port on the dolphin?

    Yes, it's a PCI card that connects to the GDEV over a standard SCSI cable.
