I am looking to set my parents up with a domain name - they want to register the name of the road they live on, and use it as an email address - e.g. mum@myroad.co.uk

Now, I have checked and the domain I want is available, But what i am looking for is a simple solution to allow them to have mum@whatever.co.uk. I also want it to be independent of my ISP, so that if I chose to leave them one day I have no hassle with the email. I also want them to provide both POP and SMTP servers - I know some ISP's are getting picky about allowing users to just connect to SMTP servers for spam reasons.

I tried to use lycos, having successfully registered a domain with them before, but they don't seem to want to let me have a .co.uk . A pain really, As I saw a decent package they had. I figure that buying the domain elsewhere and the services from lycos would be a pain in the arse.

I really want a uk company - at least with them I know they have to follow UK laws and are less likely to fuck me over...

So, Any suggestions? I do only need a email package, anything else (for now) is overkill

1and1.co.uk, they even do a plain email package which is just what you want!
