I've been eager to see this game surface in some way or another. It's my most wanted prototype, with Twelve Tales being second. I mean, an action-rpg/platformer hybrid seems right up my alley. Plus, I've always been enamored with Dorin, the cute dragon. So that being said, what has been found so far on this one? I remember talking to DreamTR several years ago and he said, "I know someone who had access to it but it wasn't available." and never clarified. So what did he mean? Sure, if they don't want to dump the damned thing, that's their business, but I just want to see some actual footage of the game in action. All the ones available are absolute crap. DogP from the Virtual Boy community repeatedly claims that "Mr. reputable source" told him that someone does, in fact, own one.
planetvb has the most information, but no there's no one exactly saying they have it, just guesses etc.
Check out Planet Virtual Boy's webpage guys. They posted a video of a YT channel of one of the members who worked at a Mexican TV program called Nintendo Mania. In that footage we finally get a better look at how the jumping mechanic works (very similar to Bound High BTW).
If you're going to bump a thread that's over two years old to say essentially the same thing as the last post, at least post a link!
Here's another update for this game. A user by the name of vuefinder83 at Planet Virtual Boy posted this extremely elusive Vidpro card for the game. If i had to guess, there's maybe one for Bound High and another for Zero Racers (wishful thinking).
There could be, given the releases were supposed to happen in a similar time frame. There's a review for Zero Racers in Nintendo Power, so it was basically finished and ready to go. While I would absolutely shit a brick if Dragon Hopper and Zero Racers were ever found, I'm also very interested in all the titles being worked on in Japan that never saw release. There's a ton of potential (albeit unfinished) games that I would love to surface.
While a prototype hasn't been dumped online yet, this guy on his YouTube channel did a pretty damn good recreation of how the 3D effect of the title works more or less
It's cool someone took the effort to do that. That Mexican video is still the clearest look we have though.
