Dream cast frame buffer question

    Was r5g6b5 the only back buffer format supported by hardware? If other formats existed, then what games used other formats?
    I know that everything was rendered internally at 8 bits each for red, green, blue, and alpha, but I don't know how many back buffer formats were supported so that's why I asked:friendly_wink:
