Dreamcast 4 wire region free mod chip

I'm interested in purchasing a Dreamcast 4 wire region free mod chip. I need it for GDEMU. I don't want too use any type of boot disc to circumvent the region free protection on the Dreamcast.

 

I've read that the mod chip messes with the boot sequence and causes GDEMU to not work correctly. I heard the bios mod is the best bet if you are going to be using GDEMU. Just a heads up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

4 wire mod chip enables import GD-ROMs.

If this is the GDEMU we're talking about, it replaces the entire optical drive unit. No discs of any kind are compatible.

Madsheep, here in ASSEMbler, made a little soft called GDEMU SD Card Maker.
It has its own regio patching option.
Plus, the GDmenu from neuroacid (still from ASSEMbler) will soon be able to patch the region too
