Dreamcast Arcade Sticks Region Free?

Is it true all Dreamcast peripherals are region free, aside from the light guns? Was thinking of purchashing an offical Dreamcast arcade stick from the UK. Just wanted to make sure it'll work with my US Dreacmast.

 

It will work. I use my Japanese controllers and peripherials with my European DreamCast and all works just fine.

 

It's only the light gun that won't work in US machines. Everything else will work fine.
