Dreamcast Collection (always in progress)

I'm not really considering selling anything at the moment but if I do i'll let you know

 

I've been looking for a pal yellow controller for YEARS. No wonder why they don't appear for sale, they're all forgotten in your closet!

 

Hey Meringues,
could you check on one of your yellow controllers if the model number MK-55104 reflects that of the box?

 

The model number is different, it says HKT-770, the same as on the regular PAL controllers

 

I ended up looking into my collection and realised I also had a Yellow and Blue one with box. I think the pictures are up on my collection thread.

Update on first post.

A couple of cool new additions, a green PAL controller and the demo/mockup edition of the official UK Dreamcast Magazine, this issue was not for sale, it was a dummy issue given to SEGA as a pitch to secure the official licence, the quality is amazing for a dummy issue, it even has silver ink printed throughout, the cover resembles the actual sample and issue zero of the magazine but notice the different logo and font at the top

Some new stuff, I managed to get an alternative version of what would become the official Dreamcast (UK edition) magazine, as mentioned in my previous post this is a demo/mockup version which wasn't for sale, it was a dummy issue given to SEGA as a pitch to secure the official licence, the dream girls cover wasn't used in the actual release, as far as I know only 50 of each where printed.

The second image is of a couple of UK Dreamcast magazines that I was trying to get.

The third image is of some of the coloured PAL region controllers I have.

 

Hi Meringues, that's a very nice collection indeed, especially the magazines. I couldn't see issue 18 of DC-UK (Skies Of Arcadia cover) in your original picture though, maybe you forgot to include it?

I also see you have a complete collection of Dreamcast Magazine (Paragon Publishing) and I'm wondering if you could assist me. I am a big Metropolis Street Racer fan and have been gathering various articles on the game for the last 5 years. In Issue 16/17 the magazine had a "Beat Bizarre Creations" competition where readers were asked to beat various lap times set by the developers. However I've been unable to find out what the readers results were. In Issue 28 the developer times were shown again but no mention of the reader results so it may be that the competition was abandoned. I'm wondering if you could maybe check issues 18-21 and see if these results are there? If soLater editions of this magazine rarely come up for sale on EBAY so I've never been able to confirm this.

I'll check the magazines out when I get a chance, hopefully over the next few days and get back to you.

A lot of the photos in my first post are quite old now but I do have all issues of the DC-UK magazines, I think I'll need to update some of the photos.

Holy hell! Your collection is incredible! That pre-production DC mag is especially interesting. Would you consider allowing me to use your images to write an article about it on my site? Just the mag I mean. Fascinating stuff

 

I also find it a bit odd that the woman with the gun on one of those mags is from an N64 game if I'm not mistaken? (Body Harvest)
