Is there a database or any info on how to understand a Dreamcast serial number? EG what region starts with what numbers etc? I bought a DC of a friend (actually from Ebay) many years ago and the serial number is 028000000001. I've known the guy for years and he said his Dad picked it up from a friend pretty high up at Sega Hong Kong (at the time) the week of the launch. Unfortnately I never did receive the box from him, it's still sitting in his garage somewhere.
