I have been using the 10 Ohm 1/4 Watt resistor fix for my Dreamcast, but I've been reading more into it and it's said I shouldn't do that, even though it works. I'd like to find an alternate means but the best one is a $6 listing on eBay which seems to be easily more than what the parts are worth: 13ohm 0.5W 5% resistor 0.39ohm 0.25W 5% fusible resistor 47uf 10V capacitor I can find the first and third part on Digikey: 13H-ND RES 13 OHM 1/2W 5% AXIAL at $1.44 for 25 P806-ND CAP ALUM 47UF 10V 20% RADIAL at 1 for $0.26 But the second one is a toughie. Some say to use a 0.4A one though I don't know the Digikey part #. Thanks.
Another page says to use a "resettable fuse." That won't work either right? Would this work: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/RXEF017/RXEF017-ND/1045822 Forget it, I talked with Console5, and he recommended that for now I should use the fusible resistor version of that common fix, two 10 ohm 1/4 watt resistors.
