Hi eveyone, I have a very strange problem with one Dreamcast. The console freeze after 1 min but the music still playing... And very strange, the VMU menu has desapered from the Dashbord and the console freeze... I have the back, but not the items menu. Like this : Yes : The blue back is on screen No : The items menu are not displayed I tried to Flach the Bios, nothing... I replace the orginal Bios with a Dev Kit one, but problem stil the same... Any idea?
Might be a loose connection on the video cable or from its connection to the motherboard, unless you're using composite, as VGA/RGB mode needs the console to connect a pin to ground or you get no video.

So you have changed the bios? Like actually replaced the chip. Does the dreamcast have any other mods installed (modchip/region mod)? Try booting without the controller pcb or the GD drive connected also.
There is no other mods, and no trace of soldering work. I try booting without the controller pcb or the GD drive connected, but the system don't boot.
have you got another PSU you can try? Maybe upload some HIGH res pictures so wew can have a look at the board,
