    Hi All,

    many thanks,
    Adam-James )

all the applications form the sdk are win32,you have to use windows.

  5. yep, all the tools that connect and operate the katana box are windows based, I am not aware of any UNIX equivalents I am afraid...

it needs to be windows 98. Other versions dont allow you to get to both partitions of the devkit

Odd that it only comes with Win32 software, I remember reading in the dev docs that the Saturn SDK was available for Windows, Apple and even Sun unix.

When the Dreamcast appeared, PCs were powerful enough it didn't make much sense anymore to use far more expensive Unix workstations. The Saturn Mac tools were all art asset related.

adam-james: Maybe you can at least mount the dev box HD on Linux?

edit: It should appear to the Linux box as a SCSI block device.

Check the hard drive for unrealesed games and beta's. Like bellok when he found warhead, viruta striker, and that Moto GP 500 game.
