Wow, didn't know they did a sound box for DC! You seem knowledgeable on DC dev kits... if you know about the various different units/versions, feel free to reply to my guide post and I'll add the info.... noone's helped out yet! :-(

I have not worked with anything other than a Set5.24 so i won't post details for other units.I have a rough idea of what they miss but i am not sure. -Set2.1 evaluation board -Set4 -Set5.16 -Set5.23 -Set5.24 finalized DevBox Series 5 was almost final so i guess 5.16 and 5.23 do not differ much form the final thing...5.16 is the one that writes "Katana" below the GD drive...
nice so there are dev kit's floathing around which have the burner within the kit? (instead of the external katana burner?)
If I remember an old post somewhere apparently the Set 4 series had the option of an internal GDWriter. On another note it's also just not called the set 4 like set 5 series boxes are not all set 5 (ie 5.16, 5.24) Mine is actually a Set 4 F2 (on the serial # section) however it also has a sticker on the top stating it's actually a Set 4 F3. Whether it was an F2 updated to F3 or whatnot who knows :-( I do rmemeber reading about the sound box in the SDK docs, athough I have never seen 1.
Only got a scummy webcam (which I can't find) and a 1.4 megapixel camera with no zoom or focus, so quality internal pics are pretty much an impossibility at the moment. Will be mailing the Set 4 F2 on loan to another board member in the new year though so he would probably take a few snapshots :smt023
... mail it to me... i will try to get it working,see how the dev enviroment is,spot the differences with other versions and take shots with my powershot. Also,if it actually works i might be inclined to buy it. Think about it,at least i will try to make it work and see how the whole thing was.
The guy I'm mailing it to will do excatly the same, but he lives in the UK so it's easier/cheaper/faster to mail him instead ;-)
