Check 'em out.... Debug Adapter and GD-Rom emulator...A single board comprising of a CodeScape DASH4 variant and a version of Cross-Product Mirage CD-Rom Emulator...Now that i think of it...cross products+codescape are the same company today...The dash is an SH4 debugger with 8(4 bidirectional) 128k channels for communication between the host and the target+various debugging functions that work with SH4's debug stub in the 1K Ase memory....The original mirage cd emulator is the one that was used with Saturn... And here is the GDRom unit... Cheers, more to add when i have time...
... Here is why i think the box fails cause of shitty PSUs... Hitachi SH4 PVR2DC AICA ARM Modem HardDisk GDRom+Controller 2xHitachi SH2 on the DA and GDM +some FPGAs on the DA and GDM various memory chips here and there Clearly,i believe that the default 250V PSU is not adequate for all these...After switching 3 PSUs i suspect that this might be an issue...
... more like codescape who make tools only for hitachi sh processors...choosing the SH2 on their board was a natural move i guess....
OMG shock horror! ...It says 'Katana' on the PCB, don't let Legit see that he doesn't 'believe' that the words 'Katana' and the words 'Dreamcast Dev Kit' should be seen together, hehe. :smt043
A lot more missing in there though A few little red push-to-make buttons and the EEPROM from the other boards
