    Heya,

No-one here will deal with you on such an expensive item until:
    * You can provide some feedback
    * An ISP e-mail address that isn't a free one
    * a photo with your username with the items in question

I know you stated it, but please update your profile to include your location.

    Questions - yup!

Where are the pictures? It would be nice to see these items!

    Are they still sealed?

You mention a box - is this the original box they were packaged in? Does it have Sega printing on it?

As the seller doesn't seem that bothered about selling to actually reply to the questions, I'll ask one to everyone else.

Is it just me, or has anyone else found it suspicious that not one but two new users have posted mass spindles of GD-Rs for sale? I mean, until recently, they were hard things to get hold of. Then legit sold his spindle. Then another surfaced, and both were bought by Adam-James. And that was it.

But oh wait, one guy has 7 spindles stashed away, and another has 8! And both want $1400 for their stash, with no pictures.

    Hmm.

I was thinking that myself. LeGiT sold his for something like 400 pounds if I recall, and here they are for around 100 or so each. Strange.

as you all may have guessed, i wanted to get my hands on the 7 spindles lot... but the dude would only take westen union... he owed money to paypal, and all the usual stuff...

some very dodgy stuff going on...

Well, to the seller, could you stick to one username, please then?

  12. You guys have some nerve

Every time I try to sell something on this forum, someone has something bad to say about the fact that I'm a new user. Well if the folks here at assembler would get this site together then maybe I wouldnt have to create a new account everytime I come here. Sorry I dont live on this forum like the rest of you guys, but when I do come around I would appreciate it if you didnt discredit me. If there are questions or concerns about the posting then like I say in the posting, email me. Sitting around having a round robin discussion about me isnt going to get any questions answered for you guys, as I cant check the forum every 5 minutes.

If you post something for sale on a forum, you check for replies. Tick the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box.

Put yourselves in our shoes. A new guy comes on the forum and offers something for sale that is very rare, with no pictures and a free web e-mail account . To be honest, for $1400 you could get a picture - even go down a photo booth ($5) and then get the photo scanned in at a photo store (maybe another $5 - and $10 isn't much when you're making $1400).

We know nothing about you. If you'd taken some interest in being a community member, introducing yourself etc. then we would have had a chance to get to know you, and maybe someone would be happier about buying from you. Even offer references from another board - interested parties could then check out your references. The free e-mail and the changing names doesn't do you any favours.

I'll repeat what I say to all newcomers. I asked you before but you didn't do it.

TO NEW USERS (especially those wishing to sell or buy)

    1. update your profile so it says your location. This will greatly aid someone who wants to buy from / sell to you (e.g. better idea of postage costs / whether the item is PAL/NTSC)

    2. go to the "Off Topic" forum. Go to the "Sticky: Introduce Yourself !" thread. Introduce yourself in there (follow everyone else's lead regarding what to put).

Re: You guys have some nerve

No your a new user, with no detail about where you are or anything, who doesnt bother to check what happens on the forum. That alone says your abit lazy about the sale already. Then theres the fact you only take some dodgy payment method.... ummm

    Hey All

My advice if it is to good to be true it probly is. As a buyer I like paypal since it has a gurentees that does work. I had one person about a year ago try to stick me after I paid for a game on ebay. Took pay pal a couple of months but I did get my money back. Western Union on the other hand good luck. I bought a marx army set about two years ago form a guy on ebay and had to pay Western Union unfortuently for me I did not keep track of ebays exact time for refunds so while they kicked the user off I lost out on $100.

again..smart scammers will have no trouble fooling paypal. All it takes is emptying their account or sending you a BS package. It's nice that you never got ripped off with paypal, but they are about as safe as walking down the street with a ball of cash in your hand. Any moron can find a way around the complaint "investigation".

This post is pretty interesting. I have never had problems selling on here, and yes, I am the one who had the 7 spindles. I actually sold them to someone already with no issues. Western Union is no more a giveaway to fraudulent actions than blindly sending a money order, or trusting someone's supposed "rep" on a web site. I am not a new user, and I'm sure many can vouch for me (Adam-James not withstanding, since he seems to want to make up issues and insinuate on things to make himself look better). I know this seller with the 8 spindles and he has never burned anyone. If you can't bring yourself to buy from this site, then quit hatin on everyone whether they're new or old. Poeple this paranoid have probably ripped off too many people and are waitng for some of that good ol kharma to kick in :)

P.S. It's not impossible for gd spindles to show up out of nowhere. These things circulate throughout the world probably. You guys make it seem like the rapture or sumthin.
