    Hi Everyone,

I recently installed a 220v PSU in my USA Dreamcast. Following instructions on the internet, I disabled the 12V line by removing Resistor R301 and the D1276 voltage regulator.

Everything was running smoothly until I purchased the Dreamcast Fishing Controller. I then played Sega Bass Fishing 1, and everytime I caught a fish and the vibration started to happen (max setting), I would get a error stating that the controller is disconnected and the game would start to stutter. I would have to turn off the console and restart.

I then decided to install the stock USA PSU and the problem stopped happening. Maybe the 12v line is also used for running certain peripherals and not just the optical drive? The Fishing Controller does appear to have a lot more vibration than a standard controller.

Any input would be great, thank you.

The maple bus doesn't provide 12v to the controller ports. Although, the mod to disable 12v might have side effects.
