DCH goes down every other month. I'm pretty sure that the bandwidth allowance is quite low.

Well you could try doing a WHOIS to get:

    Administrative Contact:
Keller, Thomas (EBKNXXMPQI) bonk AT optonline DOT net

Or you could search a previous version on Archive.org to find:

    owner AT dreamcasthistory DOT com

  5. Well, here I am, what do you want? ;)

Seriously, Yakumo, DCH wasn't going "down every other month". We started having bandwidth issues, thank you google, and I upped the bandwidth to 15GB/Month and that's pretty serious bandwidth considering the size of the site. When you can do a search on google, like this: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&q=dreamcasthistory and it comes up with SIXTEEEN HUNDRED images that are directly linked via thumbnails to DCH, then it's not hard to understand where the bandwidth issues are coming from. Even if those files are tiny, and many aren't, that's a lot stuff.

And yeah, the hack thing fuxored us too, but we'll move to a new server, get even more bandwidth, and get things back in order. We redesigned the site, rebuilt the boards, and were updating consistently again.

Going down every other month? Well that's one way to get the money to pay for the bandwidth, I guess! :smt043

    hehe sorry

Seriously though, I told you the answer. Use a robots file then google won't list your site... you should also be able to request google remove your site from their image database.
