I wanted to post this because recently I found out that with the set 5 boxes you can get audio when using VGA. While in VGA mode if you connect a cable that is a red/white RCA cable to the av ports on the dev box and the other end to an aux port you will get sound. I just thought I should post this just in case some people where not aware they could have audio when using VGA mode. Also there is a small sound test that can be heard at the end of the self check mode on the set 5 dev box.

As far as I'm aware, isn't that the only way to get audio out of it? I mean for game audio, not MIDI music production.
This is quite straight forward with a Set 5, however it's very cool to see you managed to get your hands on such a kit
Thanks I have owned it for about 3 years now. I also have the GD Writer to go with it. But I still cant believe it took me this long to figure out I could use the av audio ports to get sound from VGA mode.
