well i got a few questions and im not quite sure if the people here can help me?

    1) ! on the dreamcast people have been making single rom emulators with dosbox and was wondering if that is possible with a nes rom? or anyother rom

    2) if i want a game to be commercial were would i go to get nit published? i was thinking red spot games?

    3) how would one implement speech with the dreamcast mic? (i was thinking of implimenting this in my game but was wondering how hard is it?)

btw none of these questions are linked to each other! they are all seperate

for 2), you could also go via Goat Store http://www.goatstore.com/publishing/.
Goat Store = Feet Of Fury, Inhabitants, Maquipai & Cool Herders
    = based in US.
Redspot = Last Hope & Wind&Water Puzzle Battles
    = based in Europe.

    Oh, and just in case:
if you're thinking to make a commercial game based on a NES rom, you'd better forget it if you don't want to be prosecuted by & pay fines to Nintendo.

If you got it pressed and tried to sell it they certainly would care ;).

If you have something worthwhile that you're looking to develop and publish, I'm looking for people to publish a game or so.

Speaking from direct experience (I wrote Inhabitants), The GOAT store guys are really quite nice. I'm sure they could give you all the information you would need if you had something to publish in the US of course.

They seem to have split personalities then, because everyone who worked on GOAT Games vol. 1 was basically abandoned by the GOAT store. There was constant contact and feedback, then nothing. This caused all those projects to stagnate and, well, die.

I went through this experience twice in fact, first after the DreamOn contest with my game entry (at which point I dropped out because I was told that it absolutely had to be ready for publication in a month), then about a year later when Grizzlies, which even made it onto the GOAT Games vol.1 demo disc, died a slow death from lack of contact.

I guess they were just much more optimistic for the first round of games after FoF.
