    Hi guys!
The scrolling of my two Dreamcast mouses do not seem to be very accurate. I am testing in Quake III Arena in exchange for weapons and to navigate through the menus. It works reasonably well, but is not as accurate as the scrolling of a pc mouse by sliding on a scroll bar.

Already opened it and cleaned the sensors, it is anyway or is there any way to get a better precision to turn the scrolling? Or is it some problem in my game? (which I find unlikely ...)
Tried to find something similar on the internet but I could not. :moody:

    Thanks!

IIIRC it's a ball mouse which uses optical sensors to determine which direction and at what rate the mouse has moved. There is no easy way to "tune" the thing as far as I'm aware.

Ball mice just weren't all that great.

Thanks for the reply APE, but you are talking about the scroll wheel? Or the ball in the Centre at the bottom of the mouse? (that also uses sensors)
I was referring to the scroll wheel, maybe I have not explained so well...

In any case I think you're right, this happens because it is an old technology and probably there is no way to get a better result.

    Thanks again. :D
