Dreamcast Reconditioned Officially from Sega

I flipped over my Dreamcast and noticed that Sega put a reconditioned sticker on the top and a new serial # over the old. Thought it was interesting since it was officially done by Sega Corporation.

 

That's pretty cool, I wonder how long they supported the console this way, seeing as Nintendo serviced old Famicom consoles until just recently.

 

Reminds me that I have this old dirty manual from an old game store or something. I don't know if it's the official manual rebranded, I'll scan it if anyone really cares.

TecToy did it a lot and sold Dreamcasts like this until 2006 here in Brazil!

 

If I remember correctly Sega honored some console refurbish program until 2007.

Sega officially supported the consoles until 2007 as far as selling and fixing refurbished systems or providing tech support.
