    Hey gang,

I've got some Dreamcast bits that I'd ideally like to know the value / gauge the interest in. All of these have come out of Dreamcast consoles that work but had dead GD drives.

    I've got :

PAL model 3030 motherboard with metal heat shields
    PAL model 3030 controller board
    PAL model 3030 fan
    PAL model 3030 power switch
    PAL model 3030 power board
NTSC U late model motherboard with metal heat shields

NTSC OCT 2000 orange swirl top and bottom casing.

    Thanks in advance

You need to post a validation photo, as per the rules sticky at the top of the price check forum.

It's all still in the machines at the minute, I was hoping to see if there was any worth before pulling them apart, unless a photo of the consoles as they stand is good enough?

Take the tops off the machines and take a validation photo - sounds good ;)

As for value though, consider what a loose, working machine fetches - around £30 loose with controller and leads. Plus the reliability of all those parts is pretty good.

The most interesting part is a PAL PSU, so someone can put it in a NTSC console and play import games without loaders or hardware mods or power converters. I don't think I'd pay more than 10 € for one though.

If you want to make a quick buck, I'd put all parts on eBay for a price range of 5-10 € each item

Thank you, I will do that! I may offer up the motherboards here first since they are quite useful to some I guess!
