apart from language difference are there other significant differences between PAL Rez and JPN Rez? TIA cheers
I have not seen PAL Rez on DC.I only have the JPN version and it has full support for 50/60 hz and it is fully in English. Rez above all...
Japanese REZ is all in English as far as I remember. Could have something to do with having the Dreamcast bios set to English or Japanese though. Yakumo
So the Japanese version is in English as well?? Silly me, and here I was trying to hunt down one of the elusive first prints of the PAL version just for the English in it.. :smt043
The PAL version is harder to find but there're also a big quantity of defective units... It's sad, but all which I've checked suffers some freezing from time to time. I've tryed some NTSC-J versions and they all worked fine. Salutes.
the JPN aswel as the EUR version of REZ are all MULTILANGUAGE! :smt023 ... if your language in the dreamcast is Japanse the game will boot in japanese.... etc
To those who have the PAL version: Haven't you found some problems when the game tryes to load some parts?
Then, I'm unlucky, because I've tryed 3 GD-Roms in 2 different consoles, and all them have gave me some "freezing" problems when loading some group of enemies. In fact, some people has reported me about the same problem. Maybe it's only a defect of some units... :smt017
The PAL version of REZ has many problems. I blame the EMI Printing press for doing a half arsed job. I have a few PAL games and 3 of them sometimes won't boot. They are Evil Twin, MSR and Shenmue II. I believe it's the fault of the printing plant. All of my Japanese games run fine. Not one has ever failed to load. Yakumo
I haven't had problems with other PAL games, only with these of "Rez". But I've heard so many opinions about the EMI factory that... In fact, during the Saturn years, appeared some similar problems with a big quantity of concrete games.
