You can use ANY standard 5.9/9/13v DC motor, like RF-300 or MDN3 series (or any other that looks the same). Usually these motors are used in CD-ROM drives to open/close tray. I personally replaced about 15-20 Dreamcast spindle motors and never had any problems with them. However, these motors won't fit right away, you'll have to modify GD-ROM mechanics in order to use them. If you can wait until Friday, I can provide you with some photos.

Here. Note, that I used epoxy glue to glue modified metal plate right on top of spindle motor. Also, make sure that the shaft of the spindle motor is exactly in center of metal plate. After you done that, install the motor back into GD-ROM assembly, put on the spindle top with some useless CD on it. Then insert sharpened toothpicks between the back of the motor and GD-ROM case to align the angle of slope, so CD on top stays parallel to the surface of GD-ROM. Then add some more epoxy glue.

And keep in mind - the better you install the motor, the better it will work.
