whoa nice finds, glad to see these techdemo images in better resolutions (then a scan, altough I'm still glad that yakumo scant those images) ... and also nice of you szirtest for giving us that information, and making us wanting to see those other demos hehe.
I have the kickass Zyrix 32x tech demo somewheres, now that is really something, it looks amazing compared to what we actully saw from the hardware. I think its available on some sites but I will upload if ya like.
Tom Szirtes I presume? Welcome! And...I have to ask...do you or anyone else have any media of those unseen demos...or...gasp...the demos themselves? Any other insider information you might have would be great!
Yeah, now THERE is something mind-blowing! Do you have the video or an actual dump? (hey, a man can dream...)
Zyrinx a Scanvenger Team I'm sure it's just the video. The video has the different demos seperated by little title screens, I'm sure those wouldn't be on the cart, frankly I'd suspect that they recorded the videos off different carts and just edited them together with the title screens. And besides you wouldn't have the funky music on a dump! ~Krelian
It's nice to see some developers hanging around here. And I wonder why those demos didn't come with the sdks
It was great to see Tom Szirtes posting here at Assembler, but what's even more fantastic (well, for me at least) is finally discovering who was responsible for those Dreamcast tech demos from SOA! Also, thanks to Tom's great - if brief - message it's clear that Sega has more locked away than we'll ever probably know about. Ever get the feeling that what's getting us excited in terms of unreleased software and prototypes is just the tip of a very large proverbial iceberg? Sigh.
