Dreamcast VGA Box in Japan and cheap retro consoles. Any info?

Hey Folks.


For work, i´m going to japan next week. So, i´d like to ask you if you know a gaming store which i can find a Dreamcast VGA box (or a cheap up scaler), cheap retro consoles, and maybe a cheap second hand PS3. I checked the Super Potato site, and there are a lotta of interesting things, but none the VGA box. If you know the name of the stores which i can find those articles (in Akihabara), you would do me a big favor, ´cuz i will be just for an hour and half in Akihabara . Thank you!

 

DC VGA boxes are not cheap in Japan. If you find one in Akiba, it'll run 7000 yen or more. Super Potato and Trader (main store on 2F) generally have them.

There are no cheap retro consoles in Akiba. Go to some rural Hard Off for that.

 

There are plenty of cheap consoles in Akiba, if you're used to Western eBay prices!

 

found mine (the demi:lo) in 5.000 Yen at Super Potato...I would wanted to have a closer look to all aki, but i got small amount of time...i hope i can come back someday, and for my own (not going because my job)..

 

Never really see them below 8,000 yen to be honest. Price will only ever go up until tellys and monitors stop using VGA or VGA-HDMI.

 

Once found one for 5 bucks in a Hardoff, together with a Dreamcast, its box, cables, 2 pads, 3 VMUs, .. took it home
