I have been getting vertical banding when playing games through my VGA box. Adjusting pixel clock has reduced it, but its still there.
Is there something wrong with my box, or is this just a fact of life when connecting the Dreamcast to modern LCD televisions?

Is it a original VGA box, or is it 3rd party?

Some 3rd party VGA boxes tends to have vertical banding (more or less depending on the brand)

Yes It is a 3rd party box.
Would I have more luck modding VGA into my Dreamcast using this guide http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/dreamcast-internal-vga-mod/?
    It seems quite straight forward.
