    Regardless of where you buy... The price for a Dreamcast VGA adapter has gone up just about everywhere...

    It is high, I got my from ebay a year be for now and it was only $20 and now it like $40 and up.

    Wow that is true. I got mine like 10 years ago and it cost me 15 bucks. I sure hope it never goes bad.

    I paid around $50 for a custom made cable about a week ago that's currently in the mail. If it works and the quality is good then it's worth it to me. I considered getting the adapters but I prefer it being all one cable instead of many.

    Wow... why are they so expensive now? I bought mine a couple years ago for ~$20. I've noticed Saturn games have gone up a lot in prices lately, too. This kind of stuff is starting to piss me off.

    Why you pissed off? You say you got one already right? For the Dreamcast VGA, its just simply suppy and demand. More people want to hook up their DC's to their current Plasma, LCD, LED TVs. Yes there is supply coming steadily from china for aftermarket VGA peripherals but their build quality on these devices has gone WAY down as of late.

    Or if you are skilled with a soldering iron, a drill and a hacksaw you could make one up for about $6 in parts...
