Hi community!I've modded my DC and built in the VGA output (based on the schematics made by mmmonkey), it works fine in some monitors, but in my main LCD TV it the image looks too bright. I think that it may be related to the vga voltage output.Any suggestions? i've read somewhere that removing the 220 uF caps may fix it.

Have you run any other VGA signals through your LCD tv? Are they also bright?

On my TV, the TV has different selectable brightness settings for each input. These settings are adjustable in the TV's menu. If you haven't already, check out the TV's menu, maybe you can just adjust it darker to taste ;)

Removing the capacitors normally makes a picture way too dark but you can give it a try to see if it levels out.

yes i've tested my computer via VGA and it works fine. Even if i tweak brightness and contrast settings in the TV, it looks weird. I found a fix adding a 4ohm resistor to each color wire (RGB), that worked fine.
